At US Unlocked we therefore are excited that we were able to partner with two leaders in the package forwarding industry: MyUS and OPAS.
Both have been forwarding parcels for well over 15 years and stood at the beginning of internet shopping and the wish of the non-US shopper to be able to shop in the USA.

What does this development mean for you? It means that you will place your future orders using a new US shipping address. If you still have items in our warehouse, you must ship these out before July 1st.

US Unlocked Now Shipping through Aramex to the Middle East!

At US Unlocked we are thrilled that so many users from the Middle East have found their way to us.
Most Middle Eastern customers have flooded in to sign up for the US Unlocked Card but we found they have held off on shipping through us as well as UPS is not as efficient in this region as for example Aramex.
To be able to better serve this valued group of customers we now use Aramex to ship to the following countries: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Oman, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon and Qatar.
If you are from one of these countries and have shipped through us before you will notice the different way in which Aramex quotes, namely there is a fixed rate for the first lbs and a fixed rate for each additional lbs.
Another advantage is that the factor used by Aramex to calculate dimensional weight is 160 as opposed to 139 that UPS uses. A box measuring 12 x 12 x 14 will now have a dim weight of 13 lbs as opposed to 15 lbs.
We are very happy with the rates we were able to negociate. Although we will continue to re-pack and consolidate without cost to these countries, there is no real need for it. In fact you might be cheaper off to just ship whatever comes into your suite.
Shipping through Aramex is also much faster. If you are a us Unlocked Card user from any of these 9 Middle Eastern countries you will now have the benefit of using the same shipping and billing address, enjoy great rates and fast delivery all through the shipper you know and trust.

US Unlocked Introduces CashU Payment Option for MENA users

For our users in the MENA region who do not have a credit card or who are reluctant to use their credit card online we have added cashU to our payment methods. CashU is a well known and trusted way of payment in Middle Eastern and Northern African countries.

There are several ways to load funds to your CashU account. Check this link for the funding options for your country.

Several countries in this region are not supported by Paypal, by introducing this payment method our valued MENA users have the benefit of another option to pay for shipping, personal shopping or make a US Unlocked Card load payment along paying by Visa or Master.

Navigate USunlocked.com on Smart Phone or Tablet

usunlocked.com mobile versionUSunlocked.com has gone mobile. Since an increasing number of users uses their smart phone or tablet computer to use the US Unlocked website we have created a mobile version. On the mobile version you are able to :

  • manage the US Unlocked Card: check your balance and add more funds
  • monitor the items in your suite and create a shipment
  • view your control panel and make payments for shipments
For all other functions on the website you can always choose to go to the full site and from the full site you can choose to go back to the mobile version.

Navigating our website has become much more user friendly. A big thank you to the customers who have requested us to make this change. We are always here to listen and make things better!

Your Personal Suite Now Live - A Walk Through

Our new web site will go live in the next few hours. We are very proud of the new design and improved usability and we hope you are too. One major change is that from now on every user will have his own personal suite address to replace the no longer efficient system of registering orders. The Ship It page no longer exists. The new system is very user friendly and we will be walking through it with you below.

Your personal US Unlocked suite address

When you log into the US Unlocked site you are automatically taken to your control panel. Your suite address is showing on the right of that page. You can use this address for all your orders. There is no longer a need to first register your orders anymore. If you are also a US Unlocked Card user, you will note that the shipping and billing address are identical which makes for a speedy check out.

When your orders are delivered to us

Every time goods are received for you they are placed in your suite. You will receive an email with subject: New Items Added To Your Suite!

When you then log into your account, click to go to 'My Suite'. Here you will see an itemized list of all the goods we have received and processed for you. If you are expecting more deliveries you do not have to do anything. When the next order arrives you will receive another notification email.

Ready to ship - Step 1

When you are ready to have the items or part of them shipped to you, check the items you want shipped like in the image below and click 'Request Shipment'. If you have left items unchecked they will remain in your suite.

Ready to ship - Step 2

The next step is to enter the US dollar value per item. Please, be precise. The value of the goods you enter determines the insured value when you choose to add insurance and also is the value that is declared for customs.

Ready to ship - Step 3

When you have requested the shipment, our warehouse team will start the re-packing and consolidation process. On your control panel you will see 'Total Available Soon' under Pay Now. Within one business day you will receive a payment request for the shipping cost of this package to your country. The pay link on your control panel will now be active and say 'Pay Now'. Click on it to complete your payment.

Ready to ship - Step 4

When clicked on the Pay Now link, choose your payment method. We have added the possibility to pay with Visa or MasterCard along Paypal.

If you are a US Unlocked Card holder, you will see an extra button 'US Unlocked' as shown below. When you choose this method, you will be completing your payment with the balance on your US Unlocked Card.

Please, be prepared for some downtime while we are putting the new site live. We should be back in the air by early Wednesday morning. We look forward to your feedback!
