Important: Mastercard termination letter

Dear cardholder,

This is to inform you that Mastercard has directed us to wind-down the US Unlocked Card program. The US Unlocked team is in negotiation with a new bank and network and we are confident the program will have a new home in as little as 4 weeks. We are, however, required to inform you of the formal wind-down instructions.

Important dates
May 22 – By tomorrow we will no longer be able to load your card. Any load payments received after this date will be returned to you.

June 15 October 12 – On this day your card will be de-activated.

What does this mean?
The card can no longer be topped up effective tomorrow, May 22nd.  As of 5:00 pm Eastern Time June 15th, you will no longer be able to buy goods or services with your card. Until that date you will be able to make transactions and use up your balance.

How can I get a new card?
We intend to issue you a new card as soon as we can. We are doing everything we can to make the transition as seamless as possible. In the best-case scenario there will not be any interruption or downtime. We will keep you informed about any new details as they become available.

Why is the program being discontinued?
Mastercard has directed the wind-down of the program due to regional restrictions on card issuance.
