Xbox Gaming Updates

Posted by

Every year during E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) the announcements of hot video games and new gaming consoles take place. Last week Microsoft filled us in on their plans to add to the Xbox One family of consoles. We also saw demos of games that we have loved for years.

Xbox One S and Project Scorpio

The Xbox just got smaller with the new Xbox One S. The Xbox One S is 40% smaller than the original Xbox One and comes in a new color, robot white. This new console no longer comes with the bulky power supply we are all used to, the power supply in now integrated within the body of the Xbox One S. The S is smaller than the One, however, it is not weaker. HDR gaming and 4K ultra-HD video streaming will be supported by the new Xbox One S. Prices start at $300 for the 500 GB console and increase to $400 for the 2 TB version. The Xbox One S will be released August 31st, and you can start pre-ordering yours today.

Microsoft announced the release of a second Xbox that we should expect in 2017, codename Project Scorpio. Although we don’t know what the design of Project Scorpio will look like, we do know what to expect regarding specs. Gamers, prepare for a console that will reach 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Oh yea, Project Scorpio will be powerful enough to support VR gaming. To top that, Fallout 4 VR will launch on the new system.

New 2016 Xbox One Games

Game developers make you more anxious than ever with the release of three of our favorite games across various gaming genres. We know, you want them now, but you’d have to wait until later this year.

  • Forza Horizon 3– Will be released on September 27, 2016 and will cost you $60 or $48 is you order using Amazon Prime.
  • Final Fantasy XV– Will be released September 30th, 2016 and will cost you $60.
  • Gears of War 4 – Will be released on October 11th, 2016 and will cost you $60 or $48 is you order using Amazon Prime.

How to Benefit from Outside the U.S.
