Electric Skateboards

Boosted Board

The Boosted Board is a sleek 38-inch electric longboard that is made of flexible bamboo. You control the Boosted Board with a Bluetooth remote control. If you are a beginner skateboarder, fear not, the board has four speed profiles for you to choose from. There are beginner, eco, pro, and expert profiles with top speeds of 11 mph (18 kph), 16 mph (26 kph), 20mph (32 kph), and 22mph (35kph) respectively.  You can ride roughly 8 miles (13 km) on a single charge. However, the distance you can ride the board for depends on which mode, the incline, and your weight. The price starts at $999.

ZBoard Blue 2

While going the top speed of 20 mph (32 kph) you can cover a distance up to 16 miles (26 km). What’s nice about the ZBoard Blue 2 is that it comes with built-in LED head and tail lights, which is perfect for riding on roads at night. Finding out how much battery is left on your ZBoard is as simple as looking at the power indicator at the head of the board. Unlike the Boosted Board, the ZBoard is controlled using the two foot pads on either end of the board. By applying pressure to the front pad, you will accelerate and applying pressure to the back pad you can decelerate and reverse. You can own the ZBoard Blue 2 for $1299.

Inboard M1

The Inboard M1 is a beast separate from other electric skateboards. Typical electric boards use an external belt drive or gear system that helps the board reach a top speed of 24 mph (39 kph). The Inboard M1 features two hub motors that are built into the rear wheels. Because the motor is integrated into the wheels, it allows for a more responsive board. The wheels also move freely, making it easier for you to ride when the battery dies. Even if the battery dies, this board is built with an interchangeable battery. Meaning, that when you run out of battery, you can swap the dead battery out with a charged one and continue riding. The battery ranges from 7-10 miles (11-16 km). You can pre-order the Inboard M1 for $1399. The price is pretty steep. However, the riding experience on the M1 is like no other.
