Online TV Streaming Updates

USU Direct TV Now

Direct TV Now

One of the biggest online TV streaming updates this week is the announcement of AT&T’s Direct TV Now. This new service is comparable to Sling TV and Playstation Vue in that they all stream live TV via an internet connection. The traditional cable box or satellite outside your home is not required. Similarly, Direct TV is only available to you by using the virtual prepaid debit card with U.S. billing address that is provided by US Unlocked.

Direct TV Now

Direct TV Now offers four live streaming and on-demand packages. You get seven days free for each package. The pricing and package details are below:

  • Live a Little– 60+ live channels for $35/month
  • Just Right– 80+ live channels for $50/month
  • Go Big– 100+ live channels for $60/month
For a limited time, you can subscribe for $35/month.
  • Gotta Have It– 120+ channels for $70/month.

Additionally, when you prepay for three months of Direct TV Now, you can receive a free 32 GB 4th Generation Apple TV. However, if you choose to prepay for one month, you can receive a free Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote.

How to Stream Direct TV Now

Subscribing to Direct TV Now is similar to subscribing for Sling TV or Playstation Vue:

  1. Connect to a U.S. IP address using a VPN provider. It is advised to connect to an IP address in the same state as your billing address for your US Unlocked Card. The local channels are tailored to your location.
  2. Create a Direct TV Now account.
  3. Choose the streaming package you find most appealing.
  4. Enter you US Unlocked Card billing details.
  5. Enjoy streaming live TV and video-on-demand.

Netflix

The second exciting online TV streaming update for the week is about Netflix. One of the biggest online TV streaming services made an update to its mobile app allowing users to download content for offline viewing. Now, you will have something to watch if you run out of cellular data or don’t have Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, the entire Netflix US catalog is not yet available for offline download. You will know what content is available if there is an arrow next to the title. There is also a new category labeled “Available for Download.”
